Whipped Blackberry Honey Butter

Is there anything better than warm bread right out of the oven, then slathering it with softened butter so it just melts to combine one perfect bite? How about warm cornbread muffins smeared with the BEST whipped honey butter? What if that honey butter had fresh blackberries in it?

UGH, now that, my friends is Heaven! Pshew… is it lunch time yet?? The recipe I’m sharing today for whipped blackberry honey butter is so amazing I can’t stress it enough. Perfect for a southern picnic this summer, you’ll be coming back for this recipe again and again!

I’m not sure if I mentioned this before, but Jeremy is kind of picky. Often times when I tell him about dishes I’m going to make, be it just for us or specifically something I’m thinking up for the blog, he normally isn’t too excited about it.

Until he tastes it. That’s exactly what happened with this whipped butter, he went crazy for it!

That’s when I know I’ve got a keeper.

This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for a larger crowd. I suggest storing the butter after the first use in the fridge in an airtight container but when you want to use it again, allow it to come to room temperature. This will ensure the light fluffy texture of the whipped butter.

What I love most about this recipe is how versatile it is. Don’t like blackberries? Try raspberries or blueberries or peaches (cut them up finely first), I literally could go on and on.
