Is there anything better than warm bread right out of the oven, then slathering it with softened butter so it just melts to combine one perfect bite? How about warm cornbread muffins smeared with the BEST whipped honey butter? What if that honey butter had fresh blackberries in it?
UGH, now that, my friends is Heaven! Pshew… is it lunch time yet?? The recipe I’m sharing today for whipped blackberry honey butter is so amazing I can’t stress it enough. Perfect for a southern picnic this summer, you’ll be coming back for this recipe again and again!
Whipped Blackberry Honey Butter
I’m not sure if I mentioned this before, but Jeremy is kind of picky. Often times when I tell him about dishes I’m going to make, be it just for us or specifically something I’m thinking up for the blog, he normally isn’t too excited about it.
Until he tastes it. That’s exactly what happened with this whipped butter, he went crazy for it!
That’s when I know I’ve got a keeper.
This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for a larger crowd. I suggest storing the butter after the first use in the fridge in an airtight container but when you want to use it again, allow it to come to room temperature. This will ensure the light fluffy texture of the whipped butter.
Whipped Blackberry Honey Butter
Ingredients
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 1/3 Cup fresh blackberries about 12 each
- 4 tsp good honey
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Make sure the butter is softened to room temperature. Place in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Using a hand mixer, whip butter making sure to break up the berries while doing so.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!

Step by Step Directions
What I love most about this recipe is how versatile it is. Don’t like blackberries? Try raspberries or blueberries or peaches (cut them up finely first), I literally could go on and on.
Swoon.
Drool. Can you tell I liked this recipe?? LOL, what about you? Will you try it out? If so please leave a comment below so others know how amazing it is!

My mouth is watering! I’ve tried fruit butters before and I’m a die hard fan. Never tried blackberry, even though they are one of my favorite fruits. Definitely on my to-do list. Thanks!
