HOW TO MAKE TUNA SALAD SANDWICHES:
- In a large bowl, stir together drained tuna, mayonnaise, celery, scallions, red onion, dill pickle relish, lemon juice, garlic, and parsley. Taste and add salt and pepper if needed. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.
- Add lettuce on top of white bread and pile on the tuna salad, serve immediately.
How much easier can you get than that? You literally put everything in one bowl and mix it together and you are good to go! That is one thing that I love about this.
We don’t do anything special bread-wise for this recipe but we do love serving this on a nice fluffy piece of bread so we love to use brioche when we can, the thicker and fluffier the better.
CAN I USE THIS AS A DIP?
You absolutely can! If you would rather have this as a dip over a sandwich you can totally do that, we do that from time to time. Just serve with some of your favorite vegetables or crackers.
CAN I USE MIRACLE WHIP?
This is a personal preference that I know people have the mayo vs. miracle whip debate. You can use whichever you like best. I do have a great homemade mayo recipe we love using.
