Are you a Cheese Ball lover? What about a dessert lover? I’m both, thats why I had to make this Dessert Cheese Ball. Super delicious and a great alternative to the original.

I’m a huge banana fan, I love them plain and in any and all desserts. That is just one flavor that I cannot say no to. The Dessert Cheese Ball is here to stay.
This sweet Cheese Ball is a fun twist on a classic that is made into a dessert, I’m sure you’ve all seen some random ones floating around, but this Banana Pudding version is off the hook .
Banana Pudding is amazing on it’s own but make it into a Cheese Ball Recipe where you can dunk crackers into it, then it is like whoa this is amazing.
I might be biased on this one, but trust me, once you have that first bite, you will see where I’m coming from on this.
I know what you might be thinking. Banana flavored cheese? Just bear with me on this one.
Banana flavor I think goes well with so many different things and in so many different desserts from cake, to bars to cookies, cupcakes and more.
Literally you cannot go wrong with banana in a dessert in my opinion and I’m going to stick by that. Yes, even with a Dessert Cheese Ball! I hope you all agree!
Some of our other favorite banana recipes include Mini Banana Puddings, Banana Cupcakes with Brown Sugar Frosting and White Chocolate Cheesecake Filled Banana Bread.

HOW TO STORE:
You can store this Cheese Ball Recipe in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks tightly covered in plastic wrap, so this is a good make-ahead dessert if you want something you are able to pull out and serve.
This can also be frozen. To do this you will want to double wrap this in plastic wrap and then I like to place it in a freezer bag for extra protection.
This will keep frozen for up to 1 month, to defrost before serving place in your refrigerator until it is soft enough where you are able to dip crackers into it.
DANA’S TIPS AND TRICKS:
- This can be made with any pudding that you like, if you are not a banana fan you can change it up to a different pudding and coating.
- If you want a less fine coating on the outside, don’t crush up your vanilla wafers as much, leave bigger chunks.
- This recipe can be frozen, see my tips above on how to do that.
- You need to chill this two times before serving to make sure that it is stable enough, once for the filling after it’s mixed and once after it is formed, do not forget to do this.
- Use any of your favorite cookies or crackers to dip with this, our favorites are vanilla wafers and shortbread cookies.
- Adding white chocolate chips to the mixture is absolutely delicious, we do this from time to time to give it a little flavor and texture variation.
