I have been on an Oreo kick lately. Not only did I post Patriotic Red, White and Blueberry Oreos last recently I have today’s recipe; Marble Oreo Truffles!

You would think my obsession would be cured by now, but nope! There are just so many ways to use Oreos. I have a constant running list of treats to make with this favorite cookie.

I hope you don’t mind… I’m sure you don’t. If you love Oreos then you can guarantee that this girl will deliver, I love to use it in so many of my recipes.

Some of my favorite recipes that include Oreos are Golden Oreo White Chocolate Cheesecake Bars, Peanut Butter Oreo Buckeyes and Oreo Fudge Brownies!

Why this recipe works:

  • With only 3 simple to find ingredients these whip up in a flash.
  • You can change up the flavors of the Oreos as you wish.
  • You can easily adjust the size of this batch depending on who you’re serving.

Marble Oreo Truffles are just little bite sized morsels of decadent goodness. Like serious goodness, who would think 3 ingredients could be so tasty?

They are a cinch to make and the flavor is just out of this world, you will be surprised at how good these are! Sometimes the easiest recipes are the tastiest.

BUT, I had to kick it up a notch and make them into “marble” form. You’ve seen marble cake, but have you seen marble truffles?? I bet not!

I know I haven’t and WOW, basically one of the best things I have ever tasted… jus sayin’. I also got rave reviews from friends and family, so there! Now you have to love them!

How to make Marble Oreo Truffles:

  1. In a food processor, place golden Oreos and process until they form crumbs. Reserve 1 Tablespoon of crumbs and set aside. Add in 4 oz cream cheese, pulse until fully combined. Place mixture in a medium sized bowl, set aside.
  2. Repeat process except with the regular Oreos.
  3. Using a 1 Tablespoons sized scoop (or eyeball 1 Tablespoon worth of filling), grab small chunks of both mixtures to form the marble look. Roll into a ball and set aside on a sheet tray lined with parchment or silicone mat. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  4. Place in freezer until frozen solid, about 4 hours. (Or you can do this overnight, that’s what I do.)
  5. Melt chocolate or almond bark and dip truffles until they are coated. Place back on the lined sheet tray and immediately decorate with the leftover cookie crumbs. Let the outer shell harden, serve and enjoy!

See how easy that was? I mean seriously, so so easy! The hardest part is waiting for them to freeze, boo! But trust me it’s all worth it in the end.

How to store:

These Marble Oreo Truffles need to be kept refrigerated because they contain cream cheese. So keep them refrigerated until ready to eat and then just store in an airtight container.

They should keep in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 weeks thanks to that protective putter shell that these delicious bite sized treats are encased in,

They can also be frozen. Prepare as usual and place again in an airtight container like a freezer bag and they can be stored for up to 4 months.

To defrost I just move them to the fridge in batches as to how many I want to eat until they come to a chewable state.

This batch itself makes 24 truffles, so if you are planning on giving them as gifts I recommend making ahead of time and freezing before packaging.
