I can’t find Honeycrisp apple cider, what can I use instead?
If you are having trouble finding Honeycrisp apple cider, no worries! I found mine at The Fresh Market in the produce section, they have a little area in the refrigeration with tons of juices.
If you are still having trouble, any apple cider or even apple juice will do!
Rum Punch Alternatives and Add-Ons:
- Add mulling spices to the mix for an extra spicy punch!
- Experiment with spiced rum or flavored rums such as pineapple!
- For an extra festive touch, add cranberries to the mix, make sprigs of rosemary and cranberries for garnish.
- Use fresh squeezed orange juice in place of store-bought.
To me, its the cinnamon sticks that make this Homemade Rum Punch extra special. Do NOT skimp on adding them.

How to store:
This needs to be stored in the refrigerator. So I would recommend storing in a glass container as plastic can actually ruin the drink itself.
Place it in the refrigerator with the top covered with some plastic wrap and it should be good for a 2-3 days.

How big is the container you’re using. I have a 2 gallon dispenser and wondering if I should tweak the recipe based on this.
