Welcome to the first recipe in the slow cooker series! Parrish from Life with the Crust Cut Off and I will be posting one slow cooker recipe a week for the next month, just in time for fall!
So I’m just gonna come out and say it. This was BY FAR the best bbq chicken I have ever had. It so super moist from being in the slow cooker for hours. Then you get a nice sticky bbq-y outside from placing it under the broiler, whew! It doesn’t get much better than that! Read on for this killer Sticky Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken recipe!
Ingredients
7 each Chicken Parts, I used 4 legs, 2 wings and a breast but is completely
up to you
1-2 Cups BBQ Sauce
1-2 Tbls BBQ Dry Rub, I used Bone Suckin Sauce dry rub
Directions
Place chicken pieces in crock pot. Sprinkle enough seasoning to fully coat the chicken. Let cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours. Place on cookie sheet lined with foil.
Brush with 1/3 of the BBQ sauce and place under broiler set on low for 5ish minutes, be sure to watch it so it doesn’t burn! Flip chicken over and coat with BBQ sauce on the other side. Place under broiler for 5ish minute again, making sure it doesn’t burn. Flip it over one last time and coat with bbq sauce, under broiler for 5ish minutes, just for a really nice sticky glaze!
And that’s it! Serve with your favorite sides and you’re in BBQ Chicken heaven!
