Since it’s so easy to make, you really don’t have to worry about making too big a batch.

Just give it a good whisk before using, as it does tend to separate when it sits for a while.

Refrigerator:

Pour this poppy seed dressing recipe into an airtight container like a mason jar and chill in the fridge for up to a week.

Give it a good shake or whisk before using—it’s like waking it up from a nap!

Perfect for your kale salad or cucumber salad next time.

Freezer:

Don’t freeze this—it’d turn into a weird icy blob and the texture would probably never be the same again.

Keep it fresh in the fridge instead—it’s too quick to make again anyway!

  • Chop Fine – Make that shallot tiny—big chunks are like surprise rocks in your salad!
  • Taste Test – Sneak a lick—adjust the salt or honey for your perfect balance!
  • Shake It – Store it in a mason jar—shake it like a maraca before pouring!
  • Seed Sprinkle – Add those poppy seeds last—little flavor dots that pop in every bite!
