This isn’t just any ice cream—it’s a bright blue, creamy dream stuffed with chunks of Oreos and Chips Ahoy cookies.

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer or a large bowl with an electric hand mixer, whip the whipping cream on high until it forms soft peaks. The cream will almost double in size and will leave a ribbon behind for soft peaks.
  2. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, salt, and food coloring to the bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Fold in the chopped oreos and cookies, leaving a few extra chopped pieces to top the ice cream with after.
  4. Pour this into a 9×5 loaf pan and top with extra chopped cookies.
  5. Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Serve.

Want to take this cookie ice cream to the next level? I’ve got some ideas.

  • Chocolate chips
  • Sprinkles
  • Hot fudge
  • Whipped cream
  • Marshmallow fluff
  • Crushed pretzels
  • Caramel sauce
  • Gummy worms (for extra silliness!)
  • Chopped peanuts
  • Cookie dough pieces

Mix it up with these swaps if you need to:

  • Use coconut cream instead of heavy cream for a dairy-free twist.
  • Swap vanilla extract for almond extract for a nutty kick.
  • Try gluten-free cookies instead of Oreos or Chips Ahoy.
  • Use green food coloring if blue’s not your vibe (Hello, Oscar the Grouch ice cream!).
  • Replace sweetened condensed milk with a dairy-free version.
  • Sub in your favorite store-bought cookies for a personal touch.

Refrigerator:

This ice cream is too thick and frozen to hang out in the fridge—it’ll turn into a melty mess faster than you can say “Cookie!” Keep it frozen instead.

Freezer:

Pop the homemade cookie monster ice cream in a loaf pan, cover it with plastic wrap or stick it in an airtight container, and freeze it for up to 2 months.

Just scoop it out with an ice cream scoop when you’re ready to dig in!

DANA’S TIPS AND TRICKS:

  • Chill Your Bowl – Stick your mixing bowl in the fridge before whipping the cream. Cold stuff makes those stiff peaks happen faster!
  • Chop Cookies Big – Don’t crush your Oreos and Chips Ahoy into dust. Big chunks of cookies = big flavor.
  • Double the Blue – Add extra blue gel food coloring if you want it super bright. Cookie Monster doesn’t mess around with pastel blues!
  • Freeze Fast – Get it in the freezer quick after mixing so it sets up nice and creamy.
  • Scoop Like a Pro – Let it sit out for 5 minutes before scooping. It’ll be easier to get that perfect round ball.
