INGREDIENTS NEEDED (SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST FOR THE FULL RECIPE CARD):
- Heavy cream
- Powdered sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Whole milk
- Instant French vanilla pudding mix
- Cream cheese
- Oreos
- Salted butter
- Gummi worms (optional)
- Whipped cream (optional)

HOW TO MAKE DIRT CAKE RECIPE:
- Place the heavy cream, ½ cup of the powdered sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer or in the body of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, whip until stiff peaks form, and set in the fridge until ready to use.
- Whisk together the milk and pudding mixes in a large bowl for 2 minutes until smooth.
- In the body of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer, whip the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the pudding mixture a little at a time until fully incorporated with no steaks.
- Fold half the whipped cream until no streaks are left, then repeat with the remaining whipped cream.
- Set mixture aside in the fridge until ready to assemble.

- Add half of the Oreos to a food processor and pulse until large crumbs are formed; place in a large bowl.
- Add the remaining Oreos to the food processor and pulse until fine crumbs are formed—place in the bowl with the other Oreos.
- Stir the melted butter in with the Oreos until everything is well coated.
- To assemble, add ¼ of the pudding mixture to the bottom of a standard-sized trifle dish.
- Top with ¼ of the cookie crumbs.
- Repeat three more times until all of the ingredients are used.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for at least 6 hours to set, or overnight is best.
- When ready to serve, add gummi worms, whipped cream, and more cookie crumbs for garnish, optional.
