Waffle Toast 3 Ways, kick up your everyday waffle with these yummy toppings, featuring Jif Flavored Spreads! #peanutbutterhappy
Peanut butter is just one of those staples you grow up loving. I’ll take it any way I can get it… on toast, in desserts, a sandwich, spread on my morning waffle or just on a spoon when a craving hits.
Jif now has these amazing Jif Flavored Spreads and Jif Bars available. I picked mine up at Walmart during my weekly shopping trip this past weekend.
The Jif Bars have come in so handy recently. I’m one of those people that have to have a snack handy wherever they go. If I get hangry, it could get a little ugly… lol. So, I have a couple Jif Bars in my bag for when I need a little something to keep me full until my next meal.
I love the classic creamy peanut butter flavor but they also come in peanut butter chocolate and hazelnut chocolate flavors too… yum! They are really satisfying too, with a great chew. They are slightly sweet, slightly salty so they make for the perfect little snack.
Now on to these Jif Flavored Spreads…. swoon. Since my recent “lifestyle” change with food, I have finally accepted that I need to eat breakfast every day. I used to NEVER eat breakfast, and then pig out at lunch…. big no-no!
So, I have been experimenting a lot lately with different types of breakfast so I don’t get bored. I need something quick and easy, but most importantly delicious. That’s where these Jif Flavored Spreads come in.
I’m a peanut butter freak but regular peanut butter every single day can get a little boring. BUT, with these spreads in flavors maple (my fav!) and cinnamon, monotony is out the door!
I’ve been obsessed with all these super fun and yummy looking fancy toasts floating all over Instagram lately, I thought I’d try it out myself. But, a little different…. with waffle toast! Oh yea.
I purchased a huge box of frozen waffles. I just take a couple out, throw them on a griddle and toast them up. Slathered with Jif Flavored Spread and some toppings, I’m all set!
Here are my three favorite varieties so far:
The Elvis.
Toasted waffle, Jif Maple Peanut Butter, banana slices and one slice of bacon.
The fancy PB&J.
Toasted waffle, Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter, a handful of fresh mashed raspberries and shaved dark chocolate.
The Caramel Apple.
Toasted waffle, Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter, sliced granny smith apple and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
Oh yea, I went there. These are… as you can imagine… heavenly.
You can’t go wrong with waffles and peanut butter, but adding these toppings along with the Jif Flavored Spreads and you have one kick butt non-boring breakfast!
Writing this post has made me so peanut butter happy! How will you use these products??
