FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS RECIPE:
WHAT FLAVOR POTATO CHIPS SHOULD I USE?
You can use any potato chip flavor you like!
Plain chips are great, but flavors like barbecue potato chips (I’m a huge fan of BBQ) or sour cream and onion add a fun twist.
Wavy potato chips or kettle brand chips also work well for extra crunch.
CAN I USE CHICKEN BREAST OR THIGHS?
Yes, you can use boneless skinless chicken breasts, chicken tenderloins, or thighs.
Just make sure to cut them into thick strips or small pieces for even cooking.
ANY ADDITIONS?
Yeah! It’s a great recipe for adding your own flavors. Pick a thing or two and get cookin!
- Add cayenne pepper to the mayo mixture for a spicy kick.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Serve with honey mustard or grainy mustard as a dipping sauce.
- Mix in some parmesan cheese with the shredded cheese for added flavor.
- Use olive oil instead of mayo for a lighter option.
- Add a pinch of paprika or curry powder to the seasoning.
- Serve on a bed of mixed greens for a complete meal.
- Drizzle with melted butter before baking for extra richness.
- Pair with a side of cream of mushroom soup for dipping.
- Top with chopped sea salt flakes after baking for a gourmet touch.
ANY SUBSTITUTIONS?
Let me know how this goes. I always love hearing your feedback!
- Mayonnaise: Substitute with Greek yogurt or sour cream mixture for a tangy flavor.
- Potato Chips: Use crushed bread crumbs or panko for a different texture.
- Shredded Cheese: Any melting cheese like mozzarella or pepper jack works.
- Chicken Breasts: Swap with chicken cutlets or tenders to save time.
