Spray the bottom of a 6 quart or larger slow cooker with cooking spray.
Add corn to the bottom of the slow cooker and remaining ingredients on top.
4 15 ounce cans of sweet corn, 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, 8 ounces cream cheese, 4 ounce can diced green chiles, 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 1-2 hours or low for 2-4 hours, stirring occasionally, until the corn is warmed through and the cream cheese has melted.
Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
