These cinnamon raisin Air Fryer Bagels use a quick two-ingredient self-rising flour and Greek yogurt dough, with no yeast, no boiling, and no rising time.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, raisins, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
1 ¼ ups self-rising flour, ½ cup raisins, 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon, pinch of fine sea salt
Add the Greek yogurt and vanilla.
1 cup Greek yogurt, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Stir it in to form a loose dough.
Turn it out on a floured clean work surface and knead it until it forms a ball, the dough will be sticky, that’s okay.
Divide the dough into four sections, roll them into balls.
Working with one dough ball at a time, roll it into a log about 8-9 inches long.
Pinch the ends together to form a circle, repeat with the remaining dough.
In a small bowl whisk together the egg and water.
1 large egg, splash of water
Spray the basket of the air fryer with olive oil spray, or you can use a parchment paper insert. Lay the bagels into the air fryer, not touching, you will need to cook in batches.
olive oil spray
Brush the egg wash all over the tops of the bagels.
Cook for 8-10 minutes until the bagels are golden brown on top.
Notes
Make sure you use self rising-flour for this recipe, or you can make your own self-rising flour.
We like regular raisins, but this should also work with golden if you like them!
We feel like the flavor is a great blend, but if you want more cinnamon, feel free to add more.
These are great toasted with a little bit of butter.
You can top these with various toppings, see above for some ideas.
Use parchment paper if you do not have olive oil spray.
