The Monthly Recipe Challenge
Every month we pick one recipe from the site. You make it, you leave a star rating and a quick review on the recipe post, and on the 1st of the next month one reviewer wins a $200 Amazon gift card. That is the whole thing. No purchase, no app, no fancy photos required.

Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese (Copycat)
Our most made copycat. Three cheeses, one baking dish, and it tastes like the drive-thru version, only better because you made a whole pan of it.
Alternate recipe: Easy Chinese Chicken. Crispy chicken bites in a brown sugar garlic glaze, on the table in about 30 minutes. If a pan of mac and cheese is not your week, make this instead. Same rules, same prize.
How to enter
- Make the recipe. Either one counts. Swaps and substitutions are fine, just tell us what you changed.
- Rate it and review it. Scroll to the comments on the recipe post, pick your stars, and write a few honest sentences. Who ate it, what you changed, whether the kids asked for seconds. Honest is the point here: a three star review counts exactly the same as a five star one.
- That is your entry. Every rated review posted during the month goes in the drawing.
Bonus entry: share a photo of your finished dish. On Facebook, drop it in the comments of this month’s challenge post on our Facebook page. On Instagram, post it and tag @thissillygirlskitchen. One bonus entry per person. We reshare our favorites on the page with credit.
How the winner is picked
On the 1st of the next month we draw one name at random from all eligible reviews. The winner gets an email from us and a shout-out on our Facebook page. The gift card goes out by email within 7 days.

Questions
Do I have all month to enter? Yes. Reviews posted between the 1st and 11:59 PM Arizona time on the last day of the month count.
Do I need a nice photo? No. The review is the entry. A photo only matters for the bonus entry (a comment on our Facebook challenge post, or a tagged Instagram post), and a phone snap is perfect.
I had to swap an ingredient. Can I still enter? Yes. Say what you swapped in your review. It helps the next person.
Can I enter both recipes? Yes. Each recipe you make and review is a separate entry.
Do I have to live in the US? Yes. The challenge is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 or older.

To enter, post a star rating and a written review on the featured recipe post or the alternate recipe post during the entry period using a valid email address. One bonus entry per person is available by posting a photo of the finished recipe in the comments of the challenge post on the This Silly Girl’s Kitchen Facebook page, or by posting it on Instagram and tagging @thissillygirlskitchen. Sharing to a personal timeline or tagging friends is not required and does not earn an entry. Entries count regardless of the star rating given or whether the review is positive or negative. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries within 7 days after the entry period ends and notified by email. Prize: one $200 Amazon gift card, delivered electronically.
