These refreshing Mango Margaritas are great warm summer weather. The mango lends great fruity flavor with the contrast the spicy rim. These will be a hit at your next fiesta!
Add mango, tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, and the ice into the canister of a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Rub the edge of your serving glass with the cut part of the lime you used for juicing. Mix the margarita salt and tajin in a shallow dish. Dip the rim of the glass into the margarita salt mixture.
Pour the contents of the blender into your prepared glass and optionally garnish with more lime slices.
Notes
We like to use white/silver tequila for this recipe, you can use other if you like.
Salting the rim and adding some chili powder really gives a nice contrast from the fruit of the recipe itself.
You can use fresh mango, but it will change the texture of the drink itself.
Use your favorite orange liquor, see my tips above on types to use.
These can be frozen for later consumption, see my tips above on how to do that.
Double this batch or more to make pitchers so you don't have to keep blending margaritas all night.
