Surprise Inside Heart Cupcakes

Surprise Inside Heart Cupcakes, vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting, with a surprise red velvet heart inside!

INGREDIENTS

- French vanilla cake mix - Red velvet cake mix - Eggs - Vegetable oil Vanilla Bean Buttercream: - Powdered sugar - Unsalted butter - Vanilla bean paste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place red velvet cake mix, 1 cup water, 3 eggs and 1/3 cup oil into a large bowl. With a hand mixer on low speed mix until moistened 30 seconds.

Place on medium speed and mix for 2 minutes. Pour batter onto a sheet tray lined with parchment paper, spread out evenly.

Bake 20-24 minutes, until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Place on a wired rack to cool.

When cooled completely, take a small heart shaped cookie cutter and carefully cut out 24 mini hearts and set aside.
