2lbs.russet potatoesthoroughly washed and diced with the skins on
1/2cupone cube real butter
1/2cupsour cream
1tsp.seasoning saltor more, to taste
1/4tsp.black pepperor more, to taste
Instructions
Put a large pot of water on the stove over high heat. When boiling, carefully add the diced potatoes. Turn heat down to medium high and watch to prevent the potatoes from boiling over. Boil until potatoes are fork-tender and easily mashed
Drain potatoes and return them to the pan. Mash thoroughly before adding the butter and sour cream.
Cut the butter into smaller pieces and add to the potatoes. Add the sour cream and mash. Add seasoning salt and pepper to taste.
