Set the package in the fridge the night before to let the meatballs and sauce thaw.
Slice the meatballs in half and then cook in the sauce on the stove top to the back of the box directions. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
While the meatballs are cooking, make the crescent roll cups by rolling out the dough completely. There will be four sections of rectangles with two crescents in each. Smush together the seams of the dough then cut into even four squares. Cut squares into four even strips. Criss-cross the strips of dough in a cupcake tin. Repeat until all the cups are full.
Place one half of a meatball round side up in each cup. Cut each piece of provolone cheese into fourths. Lay one piece on top of each meatball.
Bake for 11 minutes or until the dough and cheese is golden brown. Serve with the tomato sauce, enjoy!
