Preheat oven to 350°F degrees. Mix the butter and eggs with a hand mixer until combined. Add in the cake mix and fully mix. Separate batter into 3 bowls evenly. Add in 1/2 tsp or half a packet of Kool-Aid powder into two of the bowls. Now, you should have three different colored batters.
Put bowl in fridge for about 30 minutes to set up. Using a teaspoon, measure out each color of the batter into separate piles. Each pile should have one of each color.
Roll piles into balls and place back in the fridge for 30 minutes. Roll out balls into long snake like strips. Try and twist the strip as you roll it out to get a stripe. Then, coil the strips, they should resemble those big lollipops. Roll the ends of the coils in sprinkles if desired. This is easiest if you work in batches, keeping the remaining balls in the fridge until you are ready to roll them out. They will get sticky very fast, I worked on about 3 cookies at a time.
Bake for 9-10 minutes until they are slightly browned on the edges. Let cool on pan for 5 minutes, take off pan and let cool completely on wired rack.
