Garlic Cheese Muffins

Ingredients

  • Muffin Mix:
  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Tbls sugar
  • 1 Tbls baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 Cups cheese shredded, whichever kind you prefer, I used sharp cheddar
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 Cup unsalted butter melted
  • Garlic Glaze:
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Whisk dry ingredients together and stir in cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk and butter.
  • Pour this over the wet mixture and combine thoroughly with a spoon or fork. Evenly distribute mix in a WELL greased muffin tin. This makes 12 large muffins.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
  • Garlic Glaze:
  • Melt the butter, add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  • When muffins are straight out the oven brush evenly with glaze. Serve warm, enjoy!
