Easy and Quick Chili {contributor Havalah}


  • ground meat optional
  • 1/2 onion white or yellow – chopped
  • 1/2 bell peppers – chopped
  • one clove of garlic – chopped
  • 1/4 of a jalapeno pepper take the seeds out to make it less hot – chopped
  • 2 cans black beans
  • 1 can white beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 can of 12 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • If you’re doing meat, cook it in the chili pot first. After it’s cooked remove it from the pot for later. Then cook the onions, bell peppers and jalapenos. Just before those are nice and browned, add the garlic and cook until barely brown.
  • Add the beans, meat, tomatoes and spices. Cook on low/medium heat until thoroughly heated. Top with cheese and serve with bread or baked potatoes.
