Baked Asparagus Fries

Baked Asparagus Fries, a yummy, healthier version to french fries with a mustard dipping sauce!

  • 1 pound asparagus ends trimmed
  • 1/4 Cup all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/4 Cup parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 Cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pepper to taste

Mustard Dipping Sauce

  • 1 Cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Cup whole grain mustard
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix the panko, cheese, garlic and pepper on a plate, set aside.
  • Coat asparagus in the flour, dip in the egg and roll into the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place on a wire rack over a sheet tray in a single layer, not touching. Bake for 7-9 minutes until golden brown.

Mustard Dipping Sauce

  • Mix together all the ingredients, serve with the asparagus fries, enjoy!
