Nutella French Toast Sticks

Creamy on the inside and crispy on the out, these Nutella French Toast Sticks are the perfect morning breakfast that will satisfy your sweet tooth and are kid-approved!

INGREDIENTS

For the French Toast Sticks: - Day-old white bread - Nutella - Eggs - Whole milk - Vanilla extract - Salted butter

I’m a Nutella fan by nature, it is one of those spreads that I could and would put in or on anything. Which makes these Nutella French Toast Sticks one of my absolute favorite breakfasts.

Cut the crusts off the bread slices. Spread the Nutella evenly over 4 of the bread slices and place another slice on top to make 4 sandwiches.

Cut each sandwich into 3 thick pieces, lengthwise and set aside. Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla to a shallow dish and whisk well.

In a separate shallow dish, combine cinnamon and sugar. Set aside. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Once the butter is melted, dip each stick in the egg mixture, let the excess drip off, and place it in the pan. Cook in batches until golden brown on each side.

Use tongs to transfer the sticks immediately into the cinnamon mixture and roll to coat on all sides. Serve with more Nutella for dipping.
