This is a compensated post. As always, opinions are 100% my own. #DawnBeyondtheSink
Did you know that you can use your favorite dish soap for more than just dishes?! Who knew??
Dawn is a staple in many kitchens including my own. You just know right away that it is a quality product from their household name and their work with wildlife. But, I bet you never thought much about how you can use Dawn beyond the sink. There are many tips on Pinterest for using Dawn, I haven’t tried many but just recently I decided to give another a try!
It is no secret that I cook a lot. A LOT. I make tons of messes. Seriously guys, if you saw my kitchen when brainstorming my latest blog posts… EEEK! I bake, I fry, I roll out pastry, I make salad dressing, cut up chicken on the daily. I hate to admit I’ve been on a frying streak too lately…woops? Along with that gloriously crispy crust you get the grease splatter aftermath. Dun Dun Dunnnn! No matter what I tried to clean up my fry messes, I was always left with a little greasy film. I know. Gross.
So, after my last frying fiasco I tried Dawn. All I did was take a couple drops of Dawn in a bowl and filled it with warm water. Using a dish cloth dipped in the solution, I cleaned up my counter tops. Dried it with a fresh paper towel afterwards and voila! No more greasy residue, yay!!

I hate cleaning crumble and fruit cobbler dishes.

I detest cleaning on top of the ceiling fan. I can’t reach it well and never gets cleaned and it almost breaks the fan when I do it.

I use Dawn for cleaning grease stains out of clothes.

My worst kitchen cleaning job is the residue on top of the vent hood. Grease, dust, dirt. And of course, I usually only climb up there for spring and fall cleaning. Dawn to the rescue!

I hate cleaning my roasting pan after baking a chicken. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

I used Dawn to shampoo my dogs, when they’ve been sprayed by a skunk. I helps get the oily smell out of their fur. I combine it with tomato juice, shampoo, rinse.

I have a light fixture in my kitchen that has 12 separate glass panels that need to be taken down and cleaned. That’s my worst kitchen cleaning job.

I take a little 4 0z cup put vinegar and 1 drop of dawn dish soap in it- cover it with plastic wrap then put a few hole in it , Then set in near fruit flies and usually overnight they are gone, you will find them inside the cup.

Cleaning toilets are my least favorite job and they always seem to get so bad that they simply won’t ever come clean

I use dawn on the cook stove and hood.

The hood. I’m short. And I always think I’m going to catch fire reaching up to clean the hood. Lol

I use Dawn to remove grease and other stains from clothing. I also use it to clean my windows with warm water and a lint free cloth. Works well on tinted windows where you can’t use ammonia. I have even used it to wash my towels along with got water,, works great.
