Now that the BIG GAME is coming up soon, you might be starting to see a bunch of football posts from me! I’m sorry, I can’t help it. Football is huge in my family. But, wouldn’t ya know that Jeremy and his family pull for our teams rival?! I know, we are one of those families… a split household!
With one of the biggest rivalries in football under one roof, I just had to make a fun team rival treat while watching!

These OREO cookie balls are decadent, addictive and pretty much the easiest dessert to make ever. Seriously.
I picked up the OREOs while on my weekly shopping trip at Walmart along with the other ingredients needed: cream cheese, semi sweet chocolate chips and optional for my team rival version, sprinkles!
The OREOs are found in the cookie aisle:
These OREO cookie balls are extremely versatile as well, you can use any flavor OREO for them. I love the traditional OREO the most, so I grabbed them.
Team Rival OREO Cookie Balls
Ingredients
- 1 pkg 8 oz. brick cream cheese, softened
- 36 OREO Cookies finely crushed (about 3 cups)
- 4 pkg. 4 oz. each semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
- sprinkles optional
Instructions
- Place cookies in a food processor. Process until they turn into crumbs. Add in the cream cheese, pulse until mixed and forms a dough like consistency.
- I used a scooper and scooped out 1 inch sized balls and placed on a sheet tray. Roll into balls and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- While cookie balls are freezing, melt the chocolate. Dip cookie balls into the chocolate and set back on the sheet tray and immediately decorate with the sprinkles so they stick to the chocolate.
- Refrigerate one hour or until firm, enjoy!

See? So easy, AND you can make these in advance, I love that!
These were a big hit and looked so cute sitting out to munch on during the game.
The best part is, they are so easy to decorate with the sprinkles and you can make them in your favorite team(s) colors too!
I hope you liked today’s recipe and don’t forget to grab milk’s favorite cookie: OREOs and try them out yourself!

My husband and I went to separate colleges, so we pull for different teams, but my team is a HUGE SEC stand-out who has been to the national championship twice in the last 4 years, so naturally, he claims my team as his own most of the time. These OREO Cookie Balls look SO DELISH! I would use Double Stuf because I seriously can’t get enough of the cream in the center. YUM! #client

So cute! I wish I had a food processor, but I will say, smacking my OREO’s with a wooden spoon was a good way to work out some aggression 😉
