Today I have a craft to share that is very easy, elegant and fast! This wreath is something you can make in an afternoon to spruce up a front door or mantel. I think this design is something you could definitely use year round or between Holidays!
Rustic Initial Wreath
- oval branch wreath
- flowery branches of your choice, I used pussy willow
- grass like branches
- wooden initial
- wire cutter
Step by Step Directions
With the wire cutter and scissors, cut off individual branches and grass pieces.
Weave both through the branches of the wreath, I thought of this wreath kind of like a crown with the top of it being the point where the branches came together to form a point.
Cut a small piece of twine and attach it to the branches on the back, where you want it to hang. Using the ribbon, attach the wooden initial so it hangs in the middle of the wreath.
Using a separate piece of ribbon, make a bow on the outside part of the ribbon that is attached to the wreath, this just gives it a little extra touch.
Hang the wreath and adjust the strings if needed so it hangs nicely.
Hang where desired and enjoy your new, easy wreath!
See, you can’t get much easier than this! I hope you have enjoyed today’s tutorial, what are you making next?
