Are you a mason jar lover? Do you like to give treats to your guests when they leave a party? Do you like to do easy crafts? Then this is the perfect post for you my friends! I’m going to show you how to make these cute and easy mason jar gift containers!
Mason Jar Gift Containers
These are ready in just minutes a piece, so they are perfect if you’re crafting for a crowd! Here are the supplies you need:
Mason Jars
Burlap
Yarn
Twine
Cute knick knacks
Scissors
So simple, for the first jar, measure a piece of twine so it goes around the jar top right under where the lid attaches. Make sure there is enough twine so your knick knacks can hang. Tie one end around a knick knack and knot it.
Tie and knot this around the top of the mason jar.
Attach the second knick knack like the first.
Make sure you choose items that can be tied easily. With some more twine, measure a piece that can wrap around the top a few times place more to make a bow. Now, make a bow with the twine so it give it an extra cute touch.

Cut a piece of burlap so it just overlaps the mouth of the jar. Place the top piece of the lid on the mason jar.
Place the burlap piece over this and screw on the other part of the lid.
This is how you will close the mason jars once you put your goodies inside! Here is the other kind I made with a smaller mason jar:
I just made and attached two little loose style pom poms, I think these look like snowflakes! I put another twice bow just like the larger jar and cut a circle piece of burlap for this one.
All done! What do you think?
Now, just add whatever goodies you’re gifting! I made Reindeer Chow {Muddy Buddies} for my gift containers!
I hope you liked this post!

These are adorable! I could see filling these with snacks, candies and cookie mixes! Thanks for linking up to Snickerdoodle Sunday!
Dana, these are so cute! Thanks for sharing them with our Let’s Get Real readers. I give homemade food gifts at Christmas and I am always looking for storage to give my gifts. I think the Mason jar makes a beautiful and practical way to gift my homemade treats. It’s easy enough that I can get the kids to help and make it a real family affair. Thanks for the great idea.
I agree that the jars are gifts in themselves! Love this idea and wanted to let you know I’m featuring at this week’s link party , up now!
