No-Boil Lasagna

Ready for today’s recipe?! I have a very easy lasagna recipe to share today. I love this recipe because there is no need to fuss over boiling long pasta noodles before hand. You just layer, bake and eat! I also love this because the longer it sits the better it gets and you can eat off it for days!

Lasagna

This is so flavorful but easy, the hardest part is just layering, seriously! And the Hubs loves it so…win win!

Lasagna Ingredients

5-6 Cups            Spaghetti Sauce (for this recipe I used my Meat Sauce)

24 oz                  Ricotta Cheese

2 ea                    eggs

2 Cups               Mozzarella Cheese

2 tsp                  Oregano

Parm for sprinkling

salt and pepper to taste

Have all of your ingredients ready. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Get out a 13x9x2 inch baking pan and spray with non stick cooking spray. In separate bowl combine ricotta cheese, eggs, oregano and salt and pepper, mix until distributed evenly. Now, we start the layering process!

*I go off the directions on the back of the box of no boil noodles (roughly). I, use much more ricotta cause I like it! And, have the meat already mixed in with the sauce. I like the directions basically just so I know I’ve got enough of the sauce to properly cook the noodles.*

Lasagna Layers

1.) 1 Cup of sauce
2.) 4 sheets of pasta (mine will never fit the pan perfectly, I will break up one piece of the pasta to cover the holes)
3.) 1/3 of ricotta Mix

4.) 1/4 of the mozzarella

5.) 1 Cup sauce

Lasagna Layers

6.) 4 sheets Pasta
7.) 1/3 Ricotta mix
8.) 1 1/2 Cup sauce
9.) 1/4 of mozzarella

10.) 4 pasta sheets

11.) Last of ricotta mix

12.) 1 Cup sauce

13.) Last 4 pasta sheets

14.) Last cup of sauce

After the layers are done, top with foil and bake for 30-45 minutes until bubbly. Take out of oven and remove foil.

Lasagne out of oven

Top with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella and a sprinkling of the parmesan.

Lasagna

Place back in oven until top is golden brown, about 10 minutes.

Lasagna

Let the casserole sit on the counter for 15-30 minutes before cutting to serve. This will help keep all the layers together.

I wish I had some for lunch right now! This is so yummy and comforting, I hope you will try it out! As always thanks so much for reading! Have a great day.
