Hi guys, you know it has been a while since I have told you much about me. I’m not one to go on and on about my everyday life or past. I love to come on here to show you all what I have been up to, like what I’m making for dinner, crafts I’ve put together and outfits I think are cute. But, never do I get very personal into what’s really going on. I’m sure some of you know already, if you follow me on my social media, and if you don’t now’s a great time to follow! *wink, wink* I am now a full-time blogger. Yes, this little blog of mine has turned into a full fledged business and I cannot believe how lucky I am to say that. I love this more than any other “job” (if I can call it that!) I’ve ever had and I hope to always call this corner of the internets my home. So, as you can guess today I am going to share a little more about me and also how being a blogger affects my healthcare.
Healthcare Clinic Jacksonville: Save Time and Money!
I live in Jacksonville, Fl, which is no secret! The beach pictured above is very close to where I worked at my last job. But, that isn’t the reason why I ended up here. I used to be a professional Chef and would travel around to different locations for a large restaurant I used to work for.
They have many restaurants over the country and no I’m not going to tell you where! But, I ended up here in Jacksonville, FL with the company where I was a Sous Chef (or assistant to the Head Chef). I ended up meeting my now Hubby while still working with the company but left when a better opportunity came my way. I then opened a restaurant where I was finally the Executive Chef, the main one in charge! I was so happy to finally call a restaurant my own, until the stress and demanding work schedule ruined it for me and I just knew I couldn’t be in that kind of environment anymore. I do miss it sometimes but I think it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
What does this have to do with healthcare you’re probably wondering? I went from having great coverage with the company I was with for so long to being without. It was a hard thing to adjust to. And now that I am working for myself, I need ways to save on time and healthcare costs for bloggers.
Time is extremely precious to me, you cannot imagine how much upkeep this “hobby” of mine takes up. So I need to be able to get in and out fast if I’m experiencing any type of medical issue. The more affordable the better as well, as far as I’m concerned with EVERYTHING! (I could really use that extra cash to buy more cutsey food props, my favorite!)
At the Walgreens Healthcare Clinics in Jacksonville, I’m in and out! I also get to go on their website for lots of information so I know exactly what to expect when I get there!
There are tons of Healthcare Clinics in Jacksonville and around the country, you just have to go to the store locator to see which one is closest to you. My favorite feature on the website is for the walk-in wait time. I like to be able to just run in for my flu shot without having to worrying about long lines. When I searched there were three within 10 miles of me, now that’s what I call convenience!
They also participate in the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club, where you can receive 10% savings on all Healthcare Clinic service if you are a member.
So what do you think? Will you give a Healthcare Clinic a try?
