Final Thoughts on Switching to Iams

Hi Friends!! I’m back with a final thoughts post about how Dakota is doing after switching to a high quality dog food, Iams! IAMS™ Visible DifferencesIMG_20151105_142035

It was actually perfect timing for the switch. With his new baby sister, Peanut who is 6 months old today, he needed all the energy he could get to keep up with her!

Switching to Iams has many visible differences. Dakota has been more active. Not only is he keeping up with Peanut but he is initiating a lot of the play time now too! Here is a little video of them playing in our back yard.

As you can see, they are both having a blast and play together like this outside 3-4 times a day.

They can not get enough, they love each other so much already! Siberian Huskies and Dalmatians are two of the most active dog breeds. So, it’s a match made in Heaven.

Final Thoughts on Switching to Iams from This Silly Girls Kitchen

As I mentioned in previous posts, Dakota is going on 7 years old, a little over mid life for a Husky and he was started to slow down just a bit. I would sometimes have to force him outside to go potty but now he let’s me know again when he is ready to go out!

One down side he is back to being his old self, and getting into mischief, but I’m glad he is enjoying himself, LOL!

Some other visible differences I have noticed is his coat seems shinier and thicker, if that is even possible! He also goes potty more regularly than before, that has to be another factor into having more energy!

So, all in all I am very happy with the outcome of switching to Iams! We will keep him on this new food from now on and hopefully he will keep getting more and more benefits from it! IAMS™ quality dog food
