Now that 2014 is officially in the past, I wanted to make the first round up of 2015 be your favorite recipes from the past year! I hope you enjoy this collection, you picked it out! 😉

A recap of your favorite recipes in 2014 from ThisSillyGirlsLife.com

SO much has happened this past year, on the blog and in my personal life. This blog of mine that I started as a hobby has grown into a full fledged career for me. I was able to quit my part-time job early in 2014 and focus solely on building this site and ultimately turned my life into the ultimate American dream, to work for myself.

It has been super scary a lot of the time but a whole lot of fun too. You truly have no idea what you, my readers, mean to me. You have allowed me to fulfill my dreams of incorporating my number one passion, food, into a job that fits my personality to a t.

I’m very interested to know your thoughts on bringing some more personal posts to the blog in 2015. I know that’s not why you are coming here in the first place but maybe an extra post a month about how to turn your hobby blog into a business or how blogging has helped me with my anxiety issues. This way, we can interact more and learn from each other, I think it would be fun!

Jeremy, my husband and I were also able to sign and move into our first home! It was a roller coaster but now that we have been living in our house for a little over 2 months now, we are finally settling in. Let me know if you’re interested in a house tour or on the process of purchasing a D.R. Horton new construction home. I will tell you all the good…. and bad…. we have experienced!

I haven’t had a rambling session like this in sometime but it feels good to get my thoughts out to you. Once again, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. YOU are the reason I am doing this, I hope that if you have made a recipe or craft you found on here it came out just as delicious or up to the standards you thought it would. I mostly get only good feedback in the comments but please, if you ever have an issue just ask and I will try and help you along the way.

One last thing, you will see a lot more videos from me from here on out. If there is something specific you would like me to cover, just leave me a comment on here or contact me, I’d love to help in any way I can!
