Date Night at Bahama Breeze #VivaLaRita

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bahama Breeze for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hi everyone, I’m back with another #VivaLaRita post! Last time I shared my own margarita recipe: Strawberry Lemonade Margarita! Today I’m going to share all about my visit to Bahama Breeze and our experience at Viva La ‘Rita. Every Friday night, Bahama Breeze’s celebration for Viva La ‘Rita gets taken to a whole new level! There is a party with live music, margaritas and giveaways! You can join in from now until May 5th 2015.

When we got to our local Bahama Breeze on Friday night, they were starting to set up for that night’s party. They have a drink table outside near the patio, so everyone can mingle and listen to live music.

We got seated in a comfy booth inside. The decor is tropical and inviting! We started off with an appetizer of the Chicken Quesadilla; Sliced chicken with fresh vegetables and melted cheese. Griddled and served with tomato salsa and sour cream.

For the main dishes, Jeremy got the Key West Fish Tacos; Three flour tortillas with sautéed Mahi Mahi, tomato salsa, cabbage and jicama slaw and side of guacamole.

I had the Pork Carnitas Street Tacos; Slow cooked pork, cilantro-crema, black bean-corn salsa.

With our meals, we both got margaritas and shared. Jeremy ordered the classic Margarita (Fresh lime, lemon, and crushed sugar cane hand shaken with Jose Cuervo Tequila.) off the Viva La ‘Rita menu.

And, I of course got something more girly, the Frozen Bahamarita (Our signature frozen Margarita, made with Tequila, kiwi, strawberry and mango ices. Served with a shot of Cactus Juice Schnapps.), yum!

I just thought it was so pretty! We had to of course finish off with one of Jeremy’s favorite desserts, key lime pie!

I have to say, it was definitely the best thing we had all night, lol! We had a great time while we were there and our server was so cute and informative. You can tell she really enjoyed working there! I highly suggest going on a Friday night, especially if you love a high energy, fun atmosphere. But, anytime to enjoy a cold margarita and some island food is great too! If you remember, I had a giveaway on my last #VivaLaRita post! That lucky winner has been contacted, congrats Elle!! I really hope you enjoy your $100 gift card to Bahama Breeze!

So, remember to go now through May 5th 2015 to experience Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita and try one of these amazing specialty margaritas!
