Celebrating a #LobsterWorthy Moment with Lobsterfest

“This is a sponsored conversation on behalf of the company mentioned in this post. All opinions are 100% my own.”

I’m a lover of allll kinds of different food and cuisines (obviously.) But, I think my favorite food is seafood. I really can’t get enough of it and I don’t get to enjoy it too often. To me it’s more of a dining out kind of food because where we now live, it’s hard to get good seafood to purchase and prepare myself close to home.

So, a couple weeks ago, Jeremy and I decided to celebrate the start of his vacation by going to Red Lobster! I know, we really don’t need much of an excuse to go out, do we?! LOL. But, it was perfect timing because currently Red Lobster has their Lobsterfest going on.

l10

Now, I know I said I love seafood but I reallly love lobster! It’s one of those items you truly can never get enough of!

l1

So, like I said we were “celebrating” Jeremy’s vacation, and well, we went a little nuts! There are a bunch of Lobsterfest dishes I wanted to try.

l2

I had to get the Lobster Punch, it looked soo good! It’s a limited edition specialty drink made of Malibu Red, pineapple juice, mango passion fruit mix and topped with Myer’s Dark Rum.

l5

We opted to also get a Berry Mango Daiquiri, we have had this at other trips to Red Lobster and it’s our fav!

l4

Of course, we got a basket of Cheddar Bay Biscuits to start. *Cue Heavenly music*

l3

Every time we go I say I could just have these biscuits and I’m set… seriously, how is it possible these things are so delicious?! We skipped an appetizer because we knew we were going to get dessert… the struggle is real. lol, we ordered and both started off with Caesar salads.

l6

Now, for the reason we came… LOBSTA! Or, lobster if you don’t want to have a cool accent. (ha ha?) The lobsterfest dish I got was epic.

l7

Lobster Lover’s Dream®; “A succulent rock lobster tail and sweet split Maine lobster tail, roasted and served with lobster-and-shrimp linguini Alfredo.” BOOM. You’re welcome.

Even though this dish comes with two lobster tails and more in the alfredo, I could have eaten another plate. I would have been rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, but it would be worth it! Did I mention I love lobster? Okay, good!

Jeremy got one of the new guest favorites available during lobsterfest; Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon. “A Maine lobster tail, jumbo shrimp skewer and fresh Atlantic salmon, wood-grilled and finished with brown butter.” Ugh, I had bite of the salmon and it was amazing! I couldn’t try anything else because Jeremy inhaled it all… #typical .

l8

There are a bunch of other dishes I want to try as well. Like the Roasted Maine Lobster Bake, Rock Island Stuffed Tilapia, oh oh and don’t forget the Dueling Lobster Tails; “two Maine lobster tails, one roasted and topped with tender shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce, the other golden-baked with crab-and-seafood stuffing.” Yes, please!

As mentioned earlier, we “saved room” for dessert by not ordering appetizers. We got the Strawberry Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie to share.

l9

All in all it was a great meal and the perfect way to celebrate Jeremy’s vacation! Now I encourage you to celebrate your #LobsterWorthy moments with a trip to Red Lobster and enjoy lobsterfest for a limited time!

Fun facts:

– During Lobsterfest, guests get the chance to choose from the largest variety of lobster dishes on the menu. So, if you’re crazy about lobster like I am, now is the time to go!

-Lobsterfest is Red Lobster’s best and most celebratory limited time special.

– During Lobsterfest, use the hashtag – #lobsterworthy – on social media to share special moments that call for one thing – lobster – and participate in special Lobsterfest contest!

– Red Lobster sources its lobster from Maine and Canada and other types of seafood from over 20 countries around the world.

– Red Lobster is the world’s largest seafood restaurant company with over 700 restaurants in the United States and Canad.
