No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Hi everyone! It’s Wanda Ann from Memories by the Mile. Thank you Dana for having me contribute each month. It’s always fun to visit here at This Silly Girl’s Life. Can you believe it’s May? I’m loving the weather and the lilac’s. Summer is right around the corner and that means picnic’s, family reunions, vacations, all the things I love. So today I’m sharing a scrumptious and easy treat, No Bake Peanut Butter Bars.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars, If you love Reese's Peanut Butter Cup's, you'll love these No Bake Peanut Butter Bars! They just melt in your mouth.

My whole family loves these bars, they just melt in your mouth and I love that there’s no baking. Perfect for the summer months especially. But really they are good anytime of the year.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 11 oz. box of vanilla wafers
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  • Crush vanilla wafers, using a food processor. Then mix first 4 ingredients together and press into a 9 x 12 pan. Place in refrigerator for about 1 hour to set up.
  • Melt chocolate chips in microwave for just about 1 minute and stir. Spread chocolate on top of cookie mixture and place back in the refrigerator for another hour. Cut into bars and enjoy.
