Hi everyone! It’s Wanda Ann from Memories by the Mile. Thank you Dana for having me contribute each month. It’s always fun to visit here at This Silly Girl’s Life. Can you believe it’s May? I’m loving the weather and the lilac’s. Summer is right around the corner and that means picnic’s, family reunions, vacations, all the things I love. So today I’m sharing a scrumptious and easy treat, No Bake Peanut Butter Bars.
No Bake Peanut Butter Bars
My whole family loves these bars, they just melt in your mouth and I love that there’s no baking. Perfect for the summer months especially. But really they are good anytime of the year.
- 1 11 oz. box of vanilla wafers
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- 1½ cups chocolate chips (for topping)
- Crush vanilla wafers, using a food processor. Then mix first 4 ingredients together and press into a 9 x 12 pan. Place in refrigerator for about 1 hour to set up.
- Melt chocolate chips in microwave for just about 1 minute and stir. Spread chocolate on top of cookie mixture and place back in the refrigerator for another hour. Cut into bars and enjoy.
Do you have someone graduating this month? This would be a quick treat to make for all the company you’ll have. Their really easy to transport too. If you love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup’s, you’ll love these No Bake Peanut Butter Bars. Be ready to make them again and again, because your family is going to eat them up.
I’d love for you to stop by and see me at Memories by the Mile, or you can also keep in touch with me at any of the following social media sites.
